Hey, guys. I'm getting so frustrated with this. Isn't there a way to apply a texture by weightmap? I remember seeing it but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. Anyone?

You paint the weightmap(s) and use it with a gradient -the input parameter dropdown. YOu add the gradient above the texture layer you want to control with the weight map and set the gradient layer to alpha, you make the gradient white to black.

Create your texture as a base layer, then create a gradient layer on top of that.

Set the blending mode to alpha

Set the input parameter to Weight map, and select the right weightmap from the pulldown just below input parameter.

Assuming you have a 100% weight map as the area you want to apply the texture to, create a key ate 0% and 100%. Set the -100% and the 0% keys to a value of zero
