View Full Version : Looping CurveConstraint animations

Is it possible to draw an endless Spline Curve and animate several items to form a complete loop. Eg like the tracks of a tank.

Ive managed to emulate this to a point using CurveConstraint but each track element starts and ends at the same point of the loop.

Any pointers/suggestions on how to get em to loop are most appreciated....

Im determined to crack this before I do.

Ok, now im replying to my own posts, one step closer to talking to myself.

Anyways Otterman,

Got it, Weld the begining and end points together creates a continous path, n varying the start and end times for each track element creates the link effect.

Problem now is I want each track plate to align with the path. (rotate in orientation when following path) But having the align option checked, as soon as a track plate exceeded halfway, it flips around 180 degrees.

What figures with this and is there a work around?
