Hi, can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as lattice deformers in lightwave 7.5b? The box says it does. I found a spline cage but it dosn't work as a defomer. Thanks

You should read more carefully. I'm quite sure it says something about a new spline deformer (in Layout). Otherwise there are no lattice deformers in LW as of yet but a million ways to get similar functionality. Have fun figuring it out.

Actaully, I saw a tutorial where you can setup a cube of bones and use it as a lattice deformer.

Yes. ;)

There is a plugin at Faulknermano's Web Site:
BoneLatticeGN (v2.3) :: creates a bone cage (lattice) around a mesh.

I think we need a real Lattice-deformation tool both in Modeler and in Layout (for animation),
but it's also easy to say we'll never see one cos actually this is already an ancient request.

Bye.
