Hello you guys ;D

I got a quick question regarding this new model of mine (literally ^_^)
I'm going by my own photo backdrop and have encountered my first 'problem'.
As you can see there is a bit too much geometry on the mouth area.
I wonder how i can get rid of this excessive geometry, or whether i should just distribute it somehow in the rest of the head?
Or maybe there is a magic button that does it for you? hehe, i bet we all wish this at some point :p

Anyways, appreciate any input.

Hey, Sibylline. I think Band Glue is the tool you need. Just select two adjacent quads in the row or flow you wish to reduce, then go to Construct -> Reduce -> More -> Band Glue. Hope that works.:)

I guess this has to do with polyflow so i thought id post it in here.
I wonder how i can fix this pinching?
I tried spinning quads all around teh affected area but nothing seems to completely fix it...
any advise is greatly appreciated!

Your lines should flow around the mouth in a complete ring.


You should try to make your polygons flow along the same lines as the muscles underneath.

i think i got it sorted out now. That muscle picture rocks by the way, its a nice thing to look at for a logical approach.
I wonder if the fact that the polys run along the muscles that the facial morphs will look better? would be only logical.
Here's a lil improvement thanx to your guys' advise :)
