chuck,

Online ordering for most products is available in continental North America. International customers should find a local distributor using our international dealer locator.

If I go to the Newtek Europe Website there's no word of this deal plus the online shop isn't functioning yet.

I live too far and have too much on my plate to get to the Belgian dealer (who doesn't take credit cards - only cash or cheque btw).
I WANT TO ORDER ONLINE AND DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING

is this possible ?
should I just order from newtek.com ?
should I wait for Newtek-europe.com to catch up on the deals ?
do I really have to drive all the way to Ghent to get my upgrade ?
please respond asap

Just wondering about the DF deal...

People still using 6.5 and upgrading to 7.5 then getting the 8.0 upgrade free...

Do they also get the DF deal? or do they have to pay for the 8.0 upgrade as well (even though it WAS free)?

Just wanted to get that clarified - 'cause DF looks pretty damn cool! (looks like a nice replacement for AF, anyway), and want to know what I need to do to get it ;) Oh, and is this deal available in Australia? No mention of it on the http://www.newmagic.com.au site (not that I'm overly surprised - there's no longer any pricing etc on their site either)...

After trying a bit DXF, I can say it's not for me, it looks very complex to use, I really dont have the time to learn a big app like that, plus add the fact that I am already with AFX, so it would be double use....

Now if I dont take DXF, but still want to upgrade LW, do I get a special deal ??

Cheers

If you currently have [7.5], then simply wait for the release of [8] and purchase the upgrade for $495US at that time. If you are using 6.5 or earlier, if you choose to purchase a LightWave upgrade during the current special offer period, you can resell the DFX+ bundle if you do not want to keep and use it.

Our agreement with eyeon for this special offer will not allow us to retroactively provide the DFX+ bundle to those who have purchased LightWave upgrades prior to our announcement of the offer, if that's what you are asking. Otherwise, as the press release states in the pricing and availability section, if you have PC or Mac [6.5] or earlier, then during the term of this special if you purchase an upgrade for $495US, you will receive the DFX+ bundle, a [7.5] upgrade (electronic), and when [8] is released an [8] upgrade (electronic).

Actually, one more thing - for those who recently purchased a full seat or upgrade of [7.5] and are already entitled to a free upgrade to [8], we would certainly not turn you away on a purchase of an upgrade that you do not technically require, if you do wish to take advantage of the DFX+ special offer.

So Chuck, then the upgrade to 8 when it's released will be $495 and not the $395 it was for 7? I just need to know what I have to save up. I'm not talking about the current eyeon promotion, I just mean a flat upgrade from 7.5 to 8.

Has anyone tried ordering the upgrade from NewTek's website? When I add LW8 and DFX+ to the shopping cart, my cart has 7.5 upgrade, no mention of DFX+, and the price is $395 instead of $495.

Chuck

Yes, the regular price for the upgrade will be $495US.

So does that mean the shopping cart needs to be updated or am I just getting a discount? :)
