Haven't seen much info on how the new Dynamics behave.

I'm curious to see info on the new Dynamics, are they better/faster?
Do Dynamics support multithread now?

HardFX is simulating a bit better, letters is a good way to check that out :)... Still collision using nodes. No true selfcollision. Still slow

Hm, when I read this at the NT site "More Dynamic Dynamics" - "Improved Solving Precision", I assumed the dynamics part would have been improved a lot. Darn. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

Someone knows if "jittering effect" and "StopByStabilizer" has been improved?

I have a ClothFX sim for Sas Lite hair blowing in the wind on a human head using 300, 5 -10 segment guide hair chains, textured Wind, Gravity, and a 1096 poly collision object head.

In 8.5 the calc time for 300 frames was 13 min 20 sec.

In 9.0 RC2 it was 4 min 21 sec.

So, I'd say ClothFX has been significantly improved.

At first I made a guide hair object with something like three layers of guides totalling something over 1,100 guides. 8.5 could not even begin to calc it, but 9.0 B11 was able to just fine, abiet slowly.

Also, there is a significant difference in motions of the hair between the two versions. Definitely NOT interchangeable.
