Excuse me the "off-topic" question

we need to buy a Media Asset Management, to migrate from video tape to all-digital, disk-based workflow and connect many disparate systems into a single shared storage environment.

we need to access digital media across the entire production, storage, delivery and distribution chain.

which one ?

any help is welcome

The controls will be greyed out unless you have QuickTime-compatible capture drivers and the deck is connected and powered up.

Live Capture is only available under Windows if you use a third party VDIG driver.
To ensure the source is identified correctly, connect the deck and start a tape playing before opening up the Live Capture window.

Make sure you can see a picture playing (not just the blue 'Q' or a blank window) before you press Start otherwise it probably failed to recognise the source

VDIG driver - installed
but... cant see any picture playing :thumbsdow

i have pluged a sony j30 digibeta using firewire conection

tks in advance
