and the most important was their public beta....the truely public beta.....download for free......
The CA tools features look like Our next release planning......

Houdini is an incredibly powerful piece of software though you need to be a rocket scientist to know your way around it's interface. :)

I tried the Demo once; and I agree, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Hopefully the documentation is better now though, along with some actual tutorials (at least I had trouble finding one). It does look powerful though; didn't they use it (at least in part) for Stealth?

select is $1299...i did get the demo once..a few years back...interface was...'intersting'...also looked at some 3dbuzz videos on it..didn't convince me to take it any further..i have the best software already...lightwve+3dsmax8.3....VERY hard to beat that combination!
