View Full Version : Lightwave and TextureMaster

Anybody use Texture Master in ZBrush with Lightwave? I painted some shapes on my 2000 poly female character model in Texture Master, it looks great but when I import them into LW, the render shows slightly distorted shapes. In Zbrush the mapping is AUV Tiles with a AUV ratio of one. Is there a way to adjust the mapping in either programs so this doesn't happen? I'm kind of newbie when it comes to UV's, I know that I can move the UV coordinates around but I don't think that will make a difference since the distortions are small but very noticeable. I was told that MIP mapping was not a desireable thing with this kind of UV mapping. I'm not familiar with MIP mapping and the manual doesn't say anything about what I can do to turn off or adjust MIP mapping soooo......?????

Turning off pixel blending and texture antialiasing for the texture in LW's texture editor works for me. I can't see from the example you show if that's what your problem is.
