I've been making uvmapped static meshes for Raven sheild but it's editor only imports 'ase' files exported from 3ds max. I've been to the rs forums and just keep bein told to by max but is there any plugins etc to support 'ase' exports...or maybe a lightwave to max exporter (that exports the uv coordinates too) to 3ds max so my friend can get them into the game. ps Ive noticed that unreal ed 2003 is so far the only ed to import lwo's directly.......nevermind "sigh"

So, you still need help?
UnrealEd3 for UT2003 does indeed import LWO files directly, not sure if this feature has been implemented in other UnrealEd3 versions or that it is something Digital Extremes added themselves.

Still, on the UDN (Unreal Developer Network) you can download a OBJ to ASE converter, Lightwave export OBJ files easily and that converter allows you to convert those files...

Also, you might want to give Milkshape a go, should all else fail...
