okay, i've banged my head against this for too many days. a client wants me to make his logo like apples with the reflections. i can't seem to do it. does anyone have a tute or procedure for this. i'd be very grateful.

thanks, i appreciate the response.

shiny orbs are not a problem. i can make a glass full of chrome ball bearings bounce off a vietnamese hoo . . . well, you know what i mean.

this guy's just been very specific on what he wants. i just want to smack him.

First off, I'd do that logo in Photoshop, not Lightwave. But that's me.
Second, you may be the the first person in history to complain about a client who knows exactly what he wants. Frankly, I didn't think either of you existed. Maybe there is a tooth fairy too?

he wants it to spin.

What are you actually having trouble doing? Could you post a screenshot or something?

he wants each piec of the logo to have this look, except in black.

Something like this, perhaps?
Could use a bit of tweaking, but it was pretty quick.

that looks good. i'll ask him. if it is, can you tell me how you did that and/or supply the reflection map? i don't expect anyone to do my work, nor pass it off as my own.

(justs so you know, it's for my best friend's business and it's free, but i still want to smack him.)

Yeah, I kinda guessed it might be a "friend deal"...
Anyway, it's just a quicky thing I tossed together. I'll mail it to you.
