use particle fx linker
emite 1 particle per few frames
replace particles with object

Relativity would be a big help here, it can use LW's object numbering as a time or distance offset. So all you have to do is make one object follow another one with a Relativity expression, and when you clone it 399 times, all the clones follow with their relative offset.

Out of the box....follower and changing the settings one by one :-/

if you need different object coming out, just create few particle emiters, adjust the time/frame rate, and replace each with different objects, it will look cooler.
