Hi all, Can anyone point me to a tool that will rotate selected mesh around an arbitrary axis, selected say by two points. I cant get v-roll to work for me in 8.5. There is one I saw at flay called Gyre but I cant find a down load. This seems like a basic task that should be built in somewhere, am I just missing it?
I would really appreciate any info on this.
Thanks folks, I appreciate it!

Try MODIFY>ROTATE>MORE>ROTATE ARBITRARY AXIS Create a 2 point poly in the background and your object will rotate around the 2 point poly by the degrees you specify.

Hi scott, sp roll is great but is limited to orthogonal axis rotation.V-roll would be the one if I could get it to work.
Monfoodo that one looks like it will work, dont know why I couldnt find it! Thx again

I like Gyre (http://www.flay.com/GetDetail.cfm?ID=1969).

Wow I just tried gyre and it is exactly what I was looking for, simple but totaly effective. Amust for mechanical modeling!
Thank you thank you!!
