I'm working on a project that requires simulation of real light sources.
It's for architectural purposes. Is there any way to do this in lightwave? And if so, how can i use it.

With radiosity turned on any surface that has Lumunisoty turned on in the Surface editor will emit light.

You can find it under the Global Illumination tab.

Ok, I know that.

I think I was not very clear on what i want.

For this simulation I need to exactly calculate the amount of Lux or amount of Watt or Candella.

Is there a way to do that in lightwave?
I know all about radiosity and stuff.

Not sure, also, the surfacing of your object makes it difficult to get it right...Whenever your diffuse settings are not right your lighting is gonna look weird aswell...
