View Full Version : Malformed polygon?

I'm trying to create a polygon from a bunch of points in modeler (8.0) but what I get is something that looks like a malformed polygon, ie shading is black and it appears to have no normal (lscript cannot read its normal either)
I tried using make polygon instead of make poly with the same results

I attached the object, try creating a polygon starting from any points clockwise.

Modeler seems overly fussy about quads with additional points in them and often flags them as it does non planers by depicting them as black, however you can fool LW into excepting them as normal by simply adding a subdivide and then deleting it, they usually behave after that

I usually triple the poly, and then merge polys the resultant tris...

should I view this as a feature or a bug in LW? :)
