View Full Version : Problem with rendering transparent polys.

I have a wall(single plane) that has a transparency map of wooden beams on it. Im running into problems when rendering. It will render the normal polys fine. but, once it starts rendering the transparent polys, LW crashes. This happens very frequently. I have no idea why its doing this. Any suggestions?
I am running LW 8.5 on a Mac G5.

Hard to tell without more information.

How many megs of textures are in the scene? Are you using any jpg's?
How many polygons?
Have you tried turning on raytraced transparency?

Try opening your images in the image viewer before rendering. If that stops the crashes I might know what's wrong.
