Hello, I am trying to get an plane with an image on it to grow cracks and break into individual pieces that float away in all directions with the individual fragments keeping their portion of the image.

It's like a picture painted on a sheet of glass which cracks and breaks up.

Any ideas. Thanks.

First layer: plane

Second layer: Spray points, maybe jitter. Select all point, make poly (p)

Solid slice first layer with secondlayer

Delete second layer

Unweld

layout
hardfx on object

null, ball collision

animate & calculate :)

another way to prepare the plane could be easysplit....

after preparing the plane ... same steps as mentioned above (collision...etc.)
