View Full Version : Modeler Responsiveness

This is for LW 8.5. Why doesn't modeler respond
(even with a 6 vertex cube non sub D, about as simple as you
can get) instantaneously when I rotate a model? Why
is a simple model lagging behind what I am doing?
Why doesn't just 1 point dragged around move smoothly?
What is that step-step-step-step of a point whenever
I drag? I do have the GRID SNAP turned OFF so that's not what
I am talking about. Is there a setting I can change or is this inherent
to the software design? My machine a 3ghz Pentium with
1 gig of ram and a nvidea GeForce 4 Ti 4200 ... plenty enough
horsepower to drag a single point of a cube around.

Modeler has some problems with high polycount objects, but 6 is not so high really. I don't think the problem is Modeler, you might want to check your video card drivers/settings. I can't think of anything else.
