Does anyone know if Zbrush object can be exported to LW and animate?

you can simply export objects in .obj format, import in Lw, rig and animate. especially if you haven't million of polygons !!

Maybe I should consider adding Zbrush to my 3d collection, if it really works as Nemold stated. Does anybody else has experienced with LW&Zbrush??

hey wait. i assumed you was just using ZB.
you have to know that usally in ZB you end up with very dense objects in terms of millions of polygons, and not the best topology for animation (this until 2.5 is released)
so, you can do in different ways :

1) build a base mesh in Lw, with good topology. export in .obj (u can save also UV map if you want), then import in ZB, subdivide, sculpt all fine details you can tink of. then simply extract your displacenent and normal maps. there's a good tut by Steve Warner :thumbsup: in Z brush central forums about all the Lw/ZB/Lw process.

to add to this , there' also a good plugin called zwave, allowing you to import UV datas from Zbrush to your Lwo. this allow to exploit ZB AUVtiles and GUVtiles.

2) start up with z spheres in ZB. this produces a mesh, but honestly, its not the best for animation. what you can do, is export , lets say the level 2 mesh, and then fix topology in Lw, then, basing your work on this updated object return to point 1


in ZB 2.5 you'll be able to reconstruct your mesh there, making workflow a bit easier.
