View Full Version : Crash upon deleting bones

After working in Layout for about 5 minutes, deleting a bone will crash Lightwave. I save almost everytime I delete a bone now and I friggin hate it. Having to restart LW and reload my scene (which is big) every time I delete a bone makes testing deformations on a character rig a painful task.

Anyonme else have this annoyance?

I've never had this problem, but when things get unstable like this I try turning off features that are memory or processor intensive before doing anything - for example in your case I'd deactivate the bone before clearing it, or turn off ik and deform.

Yep. Deleting an active bone makes LW crash. Be sure to unlink any geometry from a bone before you delete it.
