I have a space scene which is seen throu a window : main problem : can't see the stars throu the transparent surface ... any option that should be turned on?

I already had it on, thats not making the problem :/

ray recursion limit 16 and its only 1 sphere with polygons flipped outward (so Im guessing Im only seeing throu 1 surface?)

the stars are one point polygons with luminosity increases. I also have nebula which is not passing throu the surface either

I've already gotten rid of the inside surface :o trying to simplify the problem
thx for the help :)

Oh... God... U meant raytracing on or off?! loool I fell soo stupid now :( just turned it off and I see the stars :(

I fell so dumb since the first thing I did was check the raytracing to see if it was on :o

Anyway I think Ill have to give up the project since I wanted to use refraction on the surface and that HAS to be raytraced... therefor if I give any value diferent than 1.0 it turns pitch black :(

Ive tried using unseen by rays and also checking ray trace for refraction also off (but that doesnt give any useful result) :/

the glass is suposed to ocupy the entire screen so what I'm thinking of doing is rendering the image without the glass and then creating a polygon with that image. Its not my favorite way to do it since Im bound to have a similar problem again.

thx for the help anyway :)
