Ok guys I've posted this in the relevent forum on the boards but as this gets a lot more traffic can anyone tell me is there a way of extending a PCI slot from one in a PC mother board.

Basically I've a new PC and my VT card will not fit into the PCI slots on the main board as it's too long and runs into other cables going into the main board, so is there an extension I can buy the goes from the PCI slot in thew main board to a location below the board in the PC? (Where I have room to put the VT card not problems at all).

i'm in the UK BTW so any shops that sell such a thing ideally should be based there. I've tried my usual places but no look .

Is this a motherboard problem or a case problem and have you tried maplins i know they do a pci riser card which alters the lie of the card but i think that just flips it through 90 degrees but they might have something else to help you hope this helps
