View Full Version : move 'jumps' vs. scene size

I have been using lightwave for quite a while but there is one thing which I have lived with...but was wandering if there was a way of changing...

...Basically if I have a scene of an appartment, where I am going to do most of the animating and out the window there are buildings covering the skyline, when you go to move objects they jump large distances (in ratio to the scene size).

I have on occasions added the buildings later after most of the animation has been done but if the appartment is a large open plan penthouse flat sometimes this does not help.

My question is, is there a way of reducing or specifying the size of the jumps when you move an object in Layout?

Use the [ and ] keys to increase and decrease the grid size.

thanks JS,

I assumed grid size merely effected the actual displayed grid. It's such a small thing but it's going to make my life so much easier...well, my Lightwave life anyway. :)
