View Full Version : layer in modeler doesn't show up in Layout

I have about 30 scenes which all draw on the same Modeler file. There is a layer in that modeler file that for some reason won't show up in the Scene files! It is on it's very own layer and has its very own name and surface. I can get the layer to load, but I'd rather not have to do this manually 30 + times until I'm done iwth the scene.

is there a way for Layout to acknowledge and load this layer along with the entire rest of that modeler file without being told to each time?

thank you!

I'm not in front of my computer with lightwave on it at the moment, but I think this will solve the problem.

When you bring up the layer statistic window in modeller, check that you have its visibility layer selected (its a little dot by the layer name).

This feature stops you importing unwanted layers into Layout, and you may have accidently selected it.

thanks dave; unfortunately, that dot is on for the layer in question.
must be something really strange...
