So this job that I'm working at (where I use VT4) purchased the system about 3 or 4 months before I was hired.
I went to update to 4.6 the other day but since no one remembered actually registering the product, I followed the registration procedure to find out that it's been registered back when they first purchased that.

Well, since no one remembers registering VT4, I can't get the user/pass to login and do the necessary updating.

Now the question is, how to I go about remedying this? Moving on up from 4.5 would be handy.
I'd try password recovery, but since it sends to an e-mail that's not mine, it does me little good.

Just an update. I've called the customer service department three times over the past week, waited about 15-20 minutes each time (I generally call between 1:00 and 4:00 PST) and no one's ever picked up.
I've left one message, (the second time I called) but no one ever called me back.

That would be great if you were actually open during those stated times. I keep getting messages that I am calling after office hours and that is simply not true.

our apologies if this happened today. It was a special day, as NewTek was out celebrating the impending release of LightWave 9. Please try again Wednesday.
