View Full Version : Introducing myself

03-06-2006, 01:33 PM

Just thought I'd intro myself here since the "Introductions Forum" seems to be mysteriously illusive and the little message up the top keeps insisting . . .

Well, I've reached a point where working on my own in Melbourne, Australia isn't enough anymore and feel it's high time I come out and join everyone here. Besides seriously needing some help with Lightwave.

Currently I'm working (with my partner) on what will hopefully be a gothic graphic novel in time. We're still fleshing out ideas and having some fun doing it. Will post some WIPs shortly.

Thankx :)

Welcome Friend! I've been here for a long time and still no WIP or Work ?Finished posted. hehehe...Makes me wonder what I'm doing here.

Glad you decide to join us, this is the most helpful (sometimes down right silly) forums out there.

Again Welcome!

Welcome to the forum! I'm also eager to see your WIPs, as I too aspire to illustrate comic-book style with LightWave (when free time allows!).

Welcome, sounds interresting...I keep hearing a lot about graphic novels done in 3d, but never seem to find any that actually have been finished :p

Do keep us updated.

First WIP is up under "The Hebe and Jix Project" title

Graphic novels done in 3D seem to be rare as I've tried over the years to find them. Have seen the comment made, in the past at least, that 3D looked too computer generated and not close enough to graphic illustration and wasn't being as accepted. So it's a challenge for my partner and myself to do one and be detirmined about it. It's going to take quite a while tho as we both have much to learn yet with Lightwave.

We just want to make it a fun project and gain some encouragement (very helpful) feedback (more helpful) and tips and tricks for getting things done (even more helpful) :D

Thankx for the friendly welcome :)

I am curious what happened to the WIP (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47359&highlight=Hebe+Jix+Project) they were working on and how zapper found it.
