View Full Version : Particle emitter consistency

Hello. I have a particle emitter that generates a cloud of particles with simple HV volume attributes. I need to re-render the last half of the animation, but the particles do not seem to be in the same place. I haven't changed the .LWS file at all... do I always need to re-render from frame 0? It would be nice if I could start halfway, render to the end, and just splice it in where I need it with the particles continuing seamlessly along their paths.

You need to save a PFX file, then they will be the same every time. Try just putting the timeslider on the last frame before saving it, if that doesn't work ( depends on the scene ) 'calculate' the whole animation first.
