Hello-

I'm working on a simple animation for my wife for a presentation and am stuck on a problem. I need to have a ropelike object that can be animated on the ends (by nulls) where the rest reacts to gravity. Picture the way a necklace moves when you hold it on both ends. That is what I need.

I have tried setting up bones with IK but along with some oddities, I couldn't get the right dynamics (the chain was very rigid). I guess I need it to be very 'droopy'. How would I go about 'fixing' the endpoints to nulls while having the rest react dynamically to gravit?

Can anybody help?

I really appreciate any suggestions.
