Hi jaz47

Don't know what Ver. of LW your using but I've attached an old file from my early days. Also I recall another tutorial in Dan Ablan's Inside Lightwave 6 in the Motion Designer Section.

Another source of info can be found by exploring Silkrooster's Post in the LW Community Section under"Introductions in Order" on the 2.17.2006. A quick search of the LW resources list will usually find you what you need.

Good luck and happy Hunting

mac since IIe and still sane.

Flay is a web site where you can search other web sites for plugins. If you need a plugin for Lightwave this is the very first place to check. The address is www.flay.com

If I missed anyone my apologies as this is going to be a growing database. Anyone wishing to be listed, please pm me or access my forum and post a message.

Hi Silkrooster,

Yes I was referring to your database links, which I might add is a great resource. I'd love to see a Tutorial and Training Forum added to the list as a stand alone Forum.

At present it appears that many of the same questions get asked time and time again as each of us explores and pushes our own understanding of Lightwave. Many "How to ?" questions get asked, I should add they do appear in any forum and not one specifically for them, and in most cases members in the NT forum give freely of their time to assist but the occational RTFM response is given which disappoints, particularly when most of these responses are to issues I faced when starting off in LW6.

I'm sure there are a many of us out there who have over the years discovered obscure sites with tutorials on all manner of things Lightwave and it would be terrific if we could all could make the effort to add these to your database and make as many tutorial sites available as possible.

I must admit I lived on Scott Cameron's web site through LW6 & 7 and I'm eternally grateful to those who continually contribute tutorials and support especially to those of us working in isolation.

I hope you may be able to use the following links in your database.

Keep up the good work

Thank you for the links, I'll look them over and see about adding them. In the mean time I also have a list similar to this one, I keep on the wiki which anyone can add to. The list I display here, I try to balance as I don't want to use to much of Newteks bandwidth. But yet I want to make sure that everyone can benefit from the list.
If you are looking for a forum dedicated to new users, check mine out. I am trying to put together as much "need to know" tip, tricks and how to's there.
Anyways, I guess I promoted myself enough.:hey: Its there if you want it.
