Hi there,

I'm trying to create a couple of simple plugins from Linux, cross-compiling to Windows with MinGW. The cube demo in the SDK compiles and runs fine, but I can't get a valid result from global( LWFILEIOFUNCS_GLOBAL, GFUSE_TRANSIENT ) to do any file i/o with, and fopen() calls make modeller crash hard.

Has anybody got this working? Is there anything obvious I will have forgotten?

It would seem that I'd made rather a schoolboy error in assuming access to globals where I really shouldn't have... Ho hum, chalk one up to the learning process, I guess.

Just for the record, and in case this is actually news to anyone, the toolchain seems to work perfectly in Ubuntu Breezy. apt-get install mingw32, and use the /usr/bin/i586-mingw32msvc-* binaries for compilation and linking, and everything comes up roses.
