Hello,

im totally new to this scene, so if i make mistakes, don't shoot me for em :)

i have lightwave for about a week now, and im ready (i think) to start my first big porject: the idea is to model a car (not just any car mind you: Porsche 911 turbo S), to do so i have been practicing with a tutorial on modeling a car that i found on the newtek website. But if i want to model this car as exact as possible i will need detailed blueprints of the exterior and (if possible) the interior as well.

Now i don't know if this is even legal, or worse, professionally confidential (beroepsgeheim, don't know the correct english word for this) but if i can somehow download plans that are detailled enough or request such plans, i would appreciate it if someone could point me in that direction.

thx in advance

(don't mind the misspelling or incorrect grammar, i'm belgian :) )

Here's a great one:

http://www.smcars.net/ you just have to join up to the forum, which is pretty painless. (I'm in no way affiliated with them either :D )

and also this is pretty good too:

HAVE FUN!! and let us see how it goes!

Cheers guys,

im thinking of modeling a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (very inspiring car i must say) but i have had about 7 days of lw8 experience. Will see how it goes, will keep you updated :)

EDIT:

Hmm, i'm probably going to deep into this, but the blueprints and real life high res photos i have of this vehicle aren't enough. Especially the blueprints lack detail and finess. What bothers me the most is that i don't have ... i dotn know the right english word for this.. "transectional" blueprints? Like front and back view but then taken in the middle of the car. I'm pretty saden't by this. I have to make up by using imagination, but i want to replicate reality not my personal view on the car. I once found awesome blueprints of the batmobil... i wish it had stuff like that on the veyron.

So again i would ask this forum: is their anyway to get those detailed blueprints of the bugatti veyron?
