Just alerting everyone to the new Screamernet (network rendering) tutorial that has appeared on the Creative Mac website:

http://www.creativemac.com/2003/05_may/tutorials/screamer030515.htm

It's written specifically for Mac OS X, so there are no excuses why you shouldn't give it a go!!!

By the way i found this tut great, first time ScreamerNet setup made any real sense.

For me this has meant being able to set up some batch rendering.

But what I'd like to know is how I can get Network rendering over a multiplatform network.

At the moment I'm one Mac amoungst many PC's and would like to harness their CPU's as well.

I have tried but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Not free - but it does what you ask.

hey thanks Nigel, was aware of catalysts controller and the price, guess if that's the only solution I'll just have to plead with the finacial "powers that be"...
