Spotted this the other day...

1) Make an area light.
2) Scaled the light and make a keyframe for it.
3) Change the light to a spotlight.
4) Swich on volumetric lighting for this light.

Everything looks fine in VIPER but when rendered the scaling that was done on the original seems to affect the volume lighting in 'unusual' ways. Easy to fix (just change it back to an area light an unscale it...), but is it a feature or a bug?

Haven't tried yet but what do you mean by "unusual"?

I'd suppose the texture gets scaled like all procedurals get when you scale the object...then again, why can't we scale normal lights anyway? :D
