I just found a new video, "Layout: Orthographic Camera" (http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/lw9_demos.php).

The LightWave v9 Features (http://www.newtek.com/lightwave/lw9_features.php) page is also updated.

THe holy grail! SSS!

Heh, Just Kidding, the Holy Grail is a 3d cresting wave with foam right?

SSS is nice too though. Can't wait to play.

Maybe they have it there too?

Would be nice to be able to pass a camera/cctv into the new node system.

I really love the new control APS is giving us in Layout. Originally this feature wasn't a huge interest to me, but after seeing this last video I've become a believer. :D

I just hope LW9's new renderer will be able to handle intense subdivisions without adding too much to the render time.

well, frankly the whole APS thing has me all hot and bothered, and whilst it may be a great render trick, deformation helper, etc, its definately gonna alter my weight map workflow, because i will be making use of APS, and im very curious as to how it may be used within a texturing context.:)

i hope this beta run goes well:angel:
