How do we do this on Mac? I know of the SplitRender plug but it's Windows only (and the link is dead!?) I often have to produce large images for print (not in Lightwave yet) and know that Lightwave can suffer from memory problems.

I know this is less of a problem on Macs and I know FPrime works better on huge renders (I just can't afford it at the moment) but is there a simple solution to render a scene in sections on 1 computer?

I believe there are advanced camera tools in LW9, is it possible they might be used for this?

Thanks for any info! - Baz

You can do it manually by setting up overlapping limited region renders and then assembling them.

Or, you can let RenderFarm Commander (http://www.brucerayne.com/renderfarm.html) do it for you...

One caveat though, some shading using area lights may not exactly match up...

Thanks Mike, I didn't think of Limited Region! Looks like it will suit my needs very well :D - Baz
