Here's a simple question....

Can you select a face in perspective view and snap it to align with one of the orthograhic viewpoints i.e. front, back, top, right etc then edit the face without the hassle of faces and points moving out of register?

I can figure out if lightwave does this on it's own or if a pluggin is available...

Any help much appreciated...

I think that there is a command. Select the polygon that you want, position the cursor over the perspective window, and then try 'shift a' or 'control a', and it will rotate the model so that you are looking directly down on that polygon. I'm not at my Lightwave machine so I can't double check. I'll check later and post the answer.

its Shift a, control a does nothing by defult. This will simply center in, and zoom in/out on whatever is selected.
