View Full Version : Particle Emitter not working when moving

I have a particle emitter set to fire off a single particle on collision. It works fine when I leave it sitting in the middle of an empty scene. However, I'm trying to attatch the emitter et. al. to another object and animate the parent object, but when I do this the emitter doesn't fire.

I've searched all through the net and can't seem to find out what is causing this. The trigger object still hits the emitter and if I delete the motion frames so the parent is no longer moving the emitter works again.

Try pressing calculate?

I can't seem to find my calculate button. Nor the dynamics tab it should be on. Yes, I know where it *should* be, but its not there. Am I missing a plugin? Which is my guess. Whats the name of it?

That was for LW 8.5; I am only running 7.0 =( Will this make a difference? Did 7 even have this feature?

I followed the directions adjusting them for 7, still doesn't work

I just dusted off my copy that has been sitting around for around 3 years, so I'm trying to get spun back up on whats new and old. Its been forever and I feel sso out of date
