View Full Version : JPEG use

I am in the middle of using a number of jpeg pictures in the editor of the Tricaster. My question is... When I open the jpeg the colors are not correct. Why is this and how do I fix it? (I did play with the color corection in the tool shed, but the colors are way off.) It seems to be missing colors.

History: The jpeg was created in Photoshop and is 1600 x 800 @ 300dpi.

Any help would be great!

(the dpi settings for print are not relevant to video work)

I'm not sure what would cause this.
Could you please e-mail me ([email protected]) one of these to examine?

You may want to check if the jpg is in CYMK mode. It needs to be RGB.

That's right about JPEGS being all sorts of flavors, which you can verify whenever you go to save one ont of image editors.
rgb for starters then go with the defaults unless you know what you are doing in a more advanced level.
You might try Irfanview (free) to convert those jpegs to a video size, 720x480 and generic jpeg file, then place these into Tricaster.
