Was looking at this thread;

When it occured to me I remember doing that when I was a kid building .049 gas engine planes.
You could buy magazines that had plans in them for planes and ships of all kind, that you could cut out and pin them to a sheet of balsa wood, take a razor and cut out the wood, glue them all together and come out with an almost exact replica of that object.
I don't seem to find them any longer.

Does anyone know of those magizines?
Have you seen them around?

Would be nice to scan them into modeler.

Been out of the hobby for ages, but some of the ones I recall are:

Fine Scale Modeler
R/C Modeler
Model Airplane News
Fly R/C
Radio Control Boat Modeler
Flying Models

Just did a quick search and most of them still come up.

I do get Home Shop Machinist on occasion, and they've had things from time to time.

checked most of them here (the ones that are sold locally) and they must have quit doing the plans as none were in them, or was wrong month I checked, may have another look.
