View Full Version : looking @ Lightwave for work

Hi everyone,
We're looking at getting a 3d package here where I work. I've got a few questions

1) I've heard somewhere that if you buy now you get a free upgrade to 9 when it comes out, is it true?

2) I've also heard you can get a discount if are upgrading from another 3d package as well, our 3d package is old (infini-d). i was wondering if this promo is still in effect and if that 3d package qualifies.

I learnt lightwave in school and would like to continue using it as I'm most comfortable with it. I would like to offer some other options though, Cinema 4d and Maya. we are on the mac, has anyone heard of anything else? Any pros or cons to these programs compared to lightwave (if anyone uses any other programs)?

Thanks in advance.

That is all accurate. Go to the "buy Now" page, and you should see those offers, if not, call Newtek.
