Thanx Hoopti... Im guessing it cant be too bad if im not getting too much crit about it.... all has to be good.

On another note.. finished modelling a quick version of Babylon 5 for no reason at all.. about 9 hours ish.

Also a short render in a test environment I did origrinaly.. I then modelled the station to stick in to test how it looked.

As usual.. crits very very welcome

The sacks on the sides of the metal cover/ceiling/ whatever look weird. The ones on the left look like they are about to fall.
And the sack hanging from the corner on the right looks too rigid. It looks too perfectly-bent.
The rest is super cool.

I love the way you've simulated the effect of the old cameras; it makes it feel like it's from the era you intended very effectively. Awesome work; very atmospheric.
Babylon 5 looks excellent too (still my favourite sci-fi series), although it does look like it might be rotating a little too fast! Did you use any plugins for the starfield backdrop?

Cheers.. no plugins for the backdrop.. its done with image world and layers of starpics.. to simulate slight twinkles etc... and some procedurals to add the blue nebula.... renders in seconds which is nice :)

lol so you want crits for what? to dismiss them? i think the sandbags look bad as well. and i dont think it would take much more geometry to make them properly. just a pinch at the ends.

Hey.. I take crits very seriously... and take them onboard.. but unfortunately on this scene.. i heavily used subdivison surfaces and im literraly on the limit between rendering quickly or hitting the swap drive... I had a look at pinching the geometry on the sacks but they actually looked worse... moveing the geometry makes it bulge between corners.. look weirder... or using weights to sharpen it make it look to hard and jagged... so its kinda a problem sitution unless I buy memory and remodel... which at this time with other projects with priority I cant do...

I do take everything on board... but sometimes your limited for certain reasons... Ill get back to it later once ive completed a DVD menu for a client.

Cheers though
