i am currently working on an architectural visualisation and using the latest version of fprime, my animation is 700 frames at 640*480 pixels. thing is each frame is taking 2.5 minutes to render-backdrop radiosity with one bounce (6 passes required to get the right AA and quality of 1.5 to lose the graininess).
my scene contains 35000 polygons so it aint that huge, it is of a standalone
two story building containing 6 - two bedroom apartments. apart from the fprime radiosity i only have one directional light for my direct sunlight effect.
does anyone know how to reduce the render time, i mean could i be missing something obvious in my render or object properties settings in order to reduce render time or am i stuck with the 2.5minute render hit. any help most appreciated. :bangwall:

I think you need to provide more info on your scene settings. What about texture maps? Reflections? Etc

And why not post a frame.

Actually your render times are fair.
Out of curiosity, try to render it with native LW to see the difference.

Maybe there is room for faster rendering, but I cant guess.

FPrime was "God" sent :)
