Anywhere I can find a basic tutorial in how to make a cube bounce and a floor work together. The cube is supposed to bounce on the floor. It would also be nice if information about how the cube starts to move by influence from a force or just gravity was included in this tutorial.

Just a simple one with collosion between a cube and a floor... and not any of these long theoretical tutorial descriptions of sails and flags...

Load a cube.
Create a collison object (plane) and set the radius/level to 0 (ground level).
Raise the cube above the ground plane.
Apply hardfx to the cube.
set gravity to -9
go to frame 10 and move the cube and rotate it slightly (this will give it an inital velcity and rotation).
Hit the calculate button.
From there you can start to play. :)

It was a very short and distinct explanation... I liked that a lot.

However I must have missed something cause when calculating the box falls right down through the floor plane?

The plane needs to be a collision object...

If I remember right it depends on what you set the collision type at I beleive in this case it should be plane. I just did a test and most of the other types will allow the cube to fall through and infinate is just screwy.
