In layout: alt+mouse wheel=zoom in/out
You can't do this in modeler

hmmm - not in my LW. Anything special I need to do? Too bad you also have to hit alt.

It works in my layout with alt key.
For the modeler, if you do it on the viewport's zoom icon it will work, but I don't think you would want to use it.

Thats unfortunate, I think it would be most useful in modeler... I like how it is by default in Layout, where the scroll wheel scrolls through translate, scale, rotate, etc...

Sorry for bumping such an old thread - is there anyway to do this today in modeller?

No built in way that I know of... but...

You can do this with AutoHotkey; a free and easy-to-learn automation scripting language. The following script (basically a notepad text file) will get you the desired result:

#IfWinActive Modeler
Send (Insert Lightwave assigned key for Zoom In here)
Send (Insert Lightwave assigned key for Zoom Out here)

I really need to get some Lightwave-autohotkey tutorials out there, heh. There's a bunch of crazy-awesome things you can do when you combine the two.

EDIT: Here's a self-standing EXE that I created using the code above. Check it out!

110066 (takes Lightwave's default zoomin/zoomout keys and makes mousewheel affect them).
