i used the light incedence options @ surface editor.
the blur is postwork in ps.

i will but i can not yet.i must learn bevor better english.sorry.
its to specifically for my F****** english you know :mad:
i must translate some words with "altavista babel fish" and that
is too inaccurate for an exact explanation. :cursin:

I think he means he blurred the reflection in photoshop. He used a gradient of light incidence on the thingy. Probably in the diffuse channel, by the look of it. Suspect maybe a gradient in transparency also. It looks very cool, but I don't think the effect would be that hard to emulate.

Agree with all the positive comments - beautiful textures. Very inspiring - I'd love to try experimenting with the gradient options like you've done here. :thumbsup:

I wasn't particularly thinking of the soft reflection - just the general look of the red stuff, I really like the way like looks like the light is running around the inside of it!

Safarifx, no need to apologise for language, I really appreciate anyone taking the time to try and explain in a second language!
