Hi everbody

my pc recently finished an animation which took about 1 week

it was about 300 frames long, at the start of the render i left my pc too it

till about frame 85 then my machine had to shutdown due to windows

updating my machine so i aborted my animation, and then saved out the

animation as jpeg still in after effects. I then continued the animation,

and rendered out as stills again in After effects, after a bit of number

tweaking in the sequence, i rendered out the full animation in lightwave

using the sequence method, when i viewed my finished animation i noticed

something strange which was that where the two animation sequeneces

met (0-85,86-300) i noticed that the textures on the model for 1 frame

temporarily changed, which resulted in a jitter motion even tho the model

doesnt jitter the texture change makes it evident.

I was wondering if any body else has come across this, and if so how do i

solve it ? have tried to render frames 85, 86, 87 then putting that into the

sequence but, the same thing happens if anybody can help then that would

be great

Thanks Andy Gee

I don't get it - what are you rendering from LW? A video file? Just render stills from LW, it's a lot safer - and use an un-compressed format, not jpeg.

You should be able to figure this out in After Effects, find out exactly which frame is bad and why. If there's a texture missing on the model, repair it -
