interesting...must of taken a lot of work. I don't like lens flares, but I think it works ok in your scene. the hot air baloons however seem a little odd to me. I can't tell how far or close they are...it looks more like flat objects slapped on the buildings in the background. I thing some depth of field in your image would be nice.

I love the car in your render...I would like to see a close up of the car with the buildings in the background...that would be a very intereting composition...my opinion of course

Not so much time. I used greeble nurnies plugin to have almost automatic random extrusion and bevel. Car is a object I got somewhere, probably at

if you like the work that he is doing or that particular style, you should also take a look at Windsor McCay and the work he did with Little Nemo. I can see some things that infulenced Jean Giraud's work.
