Bah---amatuers. As long as you are dreaming, dream big. It doesn't cost extra.

Lightwave 9
Mega-Millions Lotto winning ticket
My own space program
Aston Martin Vanquish
More artistic talent
5 minutes alone with the person responsible for a certain software we are now using at work---with amnesty afterwards (its not 3D related)

Now if I am restricting myself to the more realistic.....

That pre-ordered LW9 showing up would be nice.
The time, money, and intuition to get the right gifts for my family and friends.

Are you aren't dying on us are you, Matt?

LOL! No, just very little free time. I have a 17 month old daughter, a fixer upper house, and fix PCs as a side job. I was already short of time, but my yellow pages ad just came out and it's keeping me pretty busy.

Good to hear! Good luck with the side job. Lucky for you, I think 9 will allow us to create cool stuff quicker.

Verlon - I would like my own space program, too. Perhaps we could combine forces and create the "Geothe-Verlon Terran Space Fleet"? Sounds good to me...

Well, I got LW9 pre-ordered, so that's not quite on the list any more of X-mas stuff... Though here goes for the rest.

1) A better comprehensive knowledge of LW in general (Mostly texturing though).
2) A job working in the 3D industry
3) A Nintendo "Revolution", with Zelda and Metroid
4) A new video card, Wildcat Realizm 800
5) A Dell 30" monitor
6) Last one... To find a girlfriend that isn't :censored: crazy!! :2guns:

3. Canon EOS 20D

Mamiya ZD

I sense a trend... :D

So, to continue said trend: BetterLight Super6K-HS 4x5 scanning back (http://www.betterlight.com/superModels.asp).
(no, that's not really on my list)

3) Hardback Calvin and Hobbes collection

Second that one. Spaceman spiff rules.

I'll also take some of Matt Clarys extra time.

I'd also like some quality time too with my girlfriend Genevieve in a Santa hat and not much else.

I don't need any computer/3d stuff at the moment but here is my list:
Ducati 749 R
Dainese Leathers, boots, helmet
a couple of mugs

Intuition

Lets see.....

I want F-Prime to become fully 64bit so I can finally make the production leap to 64 bit.

I could live without many of my plugs ins in 64bit but f-Prime isn't one of them.

Upon that note I want

z-brush 2.5
Lightwave 9 (for better use with z-brush) in 64bit (to compensate for high poly models and textures.

Then sasquatch and G2 in 64bit.

And maybe for next xmas I can wish for Maxwell :beta: render to finally reach 1.0 and work like its supposed too with Lightwave as well. ;)

Am I asking too much?

Clients who state succinctly what they want, don't act like they are Spielberg or Lucas (unless of course *they are*),GO AWAY, don't change the program at the halfway point, the three quarter point, the ...,

and PAY PROMPTLY!

And another 20 fast machines for the render farm.

Already got more 24" Dells than any sane person needs.

(I make no claims to sanity)

Matt, as long as you aren't developing LW9 (or some other product I need), may you have all the time you require :)

I'd wish the same but I wouldn't want to waste a wish. Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Freddie, Jason, and the Tooth Fairy couldn't pull that off.
