Can't figure it out. :compbeati

I'd really like to be able to create my own HDRI image maps.

Like take a multi bracketed photo of a crome sphere. And Save out an HDRI image for LW.

I don't think its even possible I've searched and searched, this thread (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=14195&highlight=HDRI+mac) gave me hope but I can't find the link for photophile and evry other plugin or app i find is either broken or of no use.

yet anouther reason to switch to the PC. [email protected]#$*

NO NEED TO SWITCH TO THE PC!!! HEAVENS NO!! ;)

Photoshop CS 2 on the Mac can do it... and so can Photosphere (http://www.anyhere.com/gward/pickup/photosphere.tar.gz) by Greg Ward (http://www.anyhere.com/gward/index.html)

Yeah I've got CS2, it can open RAW images from my nikon now, thats nice.
but compile a few different exposures into one .hdr file ? nope.

I'm trying photoshere now! hopefully it works.

Check the Photoshop CS 2 online documentation. I'm pretty sure it can but it was a little weird how to do it, if I remember correctly... I think you had to select the thumbnails or something in the file browser and then open them all at once, something like that...
