now i think i'm correct to say that lightwave has been able to load up bvh files [motion capture files] from around lightwave 5.6 onwards still..........

i've yet to see just 'how' you can use these with your characters...

not any of the inside lightwave books, toon character books or indeed the lightwave manuals explain how to use these rigs on your own characters...

i find this to be very irritating seeing as how HUGE motion capture is these days in games ands film...just watch captain scarlet or any of the other lightwave created tv shows and they use motion capture in ALL of them to a massive degree...now are they using motion builder or maya for this then importing into lw for rendering or is lightwave quite easy to use motion capture data....

PROTON???....dave schools uses motion capture yes?..........

can we all have a how to use it in lightwave then??

would be nice!

i know that splinegod goes thru this in one of his training videos but i suspect that this task i lightwave is long winded and problematic...so should this be a strong focus for lightwave9.0?

i think so........

Agreed, iŽd like to see some tutorials on how to use mocap files in LW, too.
